Access and car parks
If you decide to use your own car, we recommend you use the free supervised parking areas that have been designated for the event. Throughout the Festival, private cars may not access the campsites and we recommend against driving into the village to prevent traffic congestion.
For security reasons and in order to make movement within the town easier, the streets of the village will be pedestrian between 12 - 15 July. Access to the urban area will only be possible for holders of a special pass, which will only be given to locals, owners of premises within the areas and delivery personnel. Security and emergency vehicles will also be allowed inside the area.
During this 2012 edition, there will be two supervised parking areas. The main parking area will be located in the Venta area, on the road heading out of town towards Viveiro. This one will hold 4,500 vehicles and will be open from wednesday, the 12th of July. The Civil Protection will guard these areas 24 hours a day.
The second Parking area situated in the industrial area of Cuiña, near the roundabout where the AC-862 road from Ferrol and the AC-101 road from As Pontes meet - the road leading to Ortigueira.
